The UAE Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has introduced a significant update, streamlining the process for lifting travel bans in the country. Under the new system, travel bans will be automatically lifted once a legal case is resolved, eliminating the need for individuals to manually apply for the ban's removal. This change drastically reduces the processing time from one working day to just a few minutes. Previously, people had to submit clearance documents and other materials to lift a ban, but these steps have now been entirely removed. This initiative is part of the UAE’s Zero Government Bureaucracy programme, aimed at enhancing the efficiency of federal government services by cutting unnecessary administrative procedures.
